Job Opportunity – SQF Practitioner

We are currently seeking an immediate hire for the position of SQF Practitioner for one of our industrial partners:

POSITION:                   SQF Practitioner

LOCATION:                  Mississauga, ON

JOB TYPE:                    Permanent, full time (40 hours/ week)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop documentation, implementation and staff training of the production facility’s SQF/HACCP program
• Oversee company audits & inspections from CFIA or 3^rd party auditing agencies and ensure compliance for SQF/HACCP and/ or other food safety programs
• CFIA, FDA and 3^rd party auditing agencies for audit & inspection
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for new product innovation
• Help on new plant establishment of programs and documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in federally registered plant
• Experience in coordinating with inspectors, auditors from regulatory agencies is required
• GMP and HACCP certificates are must
• SQF implementation certificate is must – If not SQF certified, please check out SQFI or contact Canadian College of Food and Health for more information on certification courses
• Be able to start immediately
