Why BRC Certificate?
BRC Global Standards (https://www.brcgs.com/) are recognized as the world’s first Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) Standard and were developed by food industry experts from retailers, manufacturers and food service organizations.
BRC Global Standards guarantee the standardization of quality, safety and operational criteria and ensure that manufacturers fulfill their legal obligations and provide protection for the end consumer.
We, the Canadian College of Food and Health (CCFH), have an experienced and knowledgeable team dedicated to creating and delivering the Implementation of the BRC Global Standard Food Safety certification course that enables participants to learn about the requirements then apply and consolidate the knowledge for the implementation of the Standards.
Who Should Attend?
Implementation teams, internal auditors, quality managers and supervisors, growers, processors, suppliers, retailers, manufacturers, importers, consultants, product safety professionals and trainers who are employed at a BRC Global Standards certified site.
What Will You Learn?
You will have an in-depth overview of the purpose and requirements of the BRC standards as well as identify other areas of learning needed outside the course for successful BRC program implementation (e.g., HACCP, Prerequisite Programs).

- Understand how Certification Bodies work and their relationship with the BRC
- Prepare and conduct a gap analysis
- Audit structure, expectation, and preparing for the Certification audit
- Dealing with nonconformities
CCFH offers both in-class and online training courses on Implementing BRC Global Standard Food Safety. Upon the successful completion of the course, participants will receive the Implementing BRC Global Standard for Food Safety certificate.
To ensure an optimal learning experience and fully benefit from this course, an understanding of the application of HACCP principles is mandatory for all participants.
