We are currently seeking for candidates for immediate hiring of the following positions for our industrial partners:

POSITION 01: Quality Assurance (QA) Manager

LOCATION: NW Brampton, ON

PLANT SETTINGS: Federal, Meat, BRC

SALARY: $95,000 + annually

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee HACCP, GMP, BRC ( food safety and quality programs) for the plant
  • Liaise with CFIA, FDA and 3rd party auditing agencies for audit & Inspection
  • Help on new plant establishment of programs and documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to life sciences such as biology, food and pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry
  • 10+ years of QA experience in federally registered plant with minimum 3-5 years of supervisory/ managerial roles
  • GMP and HACCP certificates are must
  • Experience in coordinating with inspectors, auditors from regulatory agencies (CFIA, USDA) is required
  • CHA and/or knowledge of GFSI (e.g., BRC, SQF) are considered assets
  • Can be firm, and grow with the plant
  • Be able to start immediately

 

POSITION 02: Quality Assurance (QA) Technologist/ Technician

LOCATION: NW Brampton, ON

PLANT SETTINGS: Federal, Meat, BRC

WORKING HOURS: 2 shifts (day & afternoon), Mon-Fri, occasional Sat.

SALARY: $40,000+ annually

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Mainly work on weight, packaging and other production line (not much lab work)
  • Assist in CIFA and BRC auditing
  • Taste test not required if vegetarian/ dislike beef

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Microbiology or related disciplines
  • 2 years of QA experience in a federally registered meat plant experience an asset
  • GMP and HACCP certificates are must
  • BRC certificate is an asset
  • Be able to work at cold condition (< 10oC)
  • Must have a car and hold full G licence

 

POSITION 03: HACCP Coordinator/ Technical Manager

LOCATION: Scarborough, ON

PLANT SETTINGS: Beef

WORKING HOURS: Day shift starting 6:30 am preop

SALARY: $55,000+ per year

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Mainly work on daily GMP & HACCP programs coordinating with plant personnel
  • Liaison and coordinate with CFIA for inspection and auditing
  • Ready-To-Eat meat production environment with monitoring on CCPs

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Food Science or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of QA experience in federally registered plant
  • Meat plant experience is required
  • GMP and HACCP certificates are must
  • Experience in coordinating with CFIA inspectors is required
  • Knowledge of GFSI (BRC, SQF) are considered assets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
